| Responsibilities: • Line management for staff of SAP project / service managers, AMS consultants and developers • Responsible for SAP project and service business in PoP to support the global delivery network and the local market.. • Responsible for SAP strategy, right skill set and financial targets of the SAP unit. • Assure utilization of staff assigned to the SAP unit. • Manage demand in close coordination with the Demand Management. • Effectively plan, manage and deliver projects / application management service on time, budget and quality for the global delivery network and local market. • Lead and be responsible for big bids and the contribution in RfPs. • Staff the project / application management service dependent on the demand. • Manage and negotiate with suppliers, vendors and contractors as required for individual projects • Demonstrate an ongoing good level of self-organization, motivation and management independence • Contribute to the enhancement reputation for the professional delivery of projects and application management services. • Adhere to and contribute towards the development of policies and procedures Requirements: • Multiple years of experience in managing delivery teams (>50 staff). Offshore experience is a plus.. • Successful delivery of complex projects and / or application management services in the SAP area • Demonstrable experience in building and growing up of teams • Demonstrable familiarity of project management and / or service management best practices and methodologies • Demonstrated good people leadership skills and ability to manage delivery teams of project resources at various levels and from different sources (own staff, subcontractors etc.) • A good degree of personal drive, autonomy and organizational astuteness is expected • Formal qualification in project management (e.g. PMI) or service management (e.g. ITIL) is a plus • High proficient PC Skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Products including Microsoft Project • Bachelor or Masters degree in an engineering discipline or in computer science • Good communicator, both written & oral, up to management level • Good interpersonal skills: 1. Self-starter, assertive, taking responsibility 2. High level of loyalty 3. International experience or experience in MNCs is desirable 4. Fluent in Chinese and English (read / write / speak) 5. Flexible, willing to travel mainly within China |
